Shaya Mulcahy
SHAYA MULCAHY is an NY-based film director, editor, cinematographer, writer & producer. She graduated from University of Southern California in 2014. For three years, she was an Executive Assistant for a Broadway and Film Producer, performing administrative and creative development responsibilities. Now, Shaya is the founder & president of The Integrated Film Company. Her film, F is for Friendship, premiered on Short of the Week. Shaya was selected for SHOOT's 16th Annual New Director's Showcase in 2018. She is currently developing her first feature, a sci-fi thriller, with writer Michael Reilly (Till). Recently, Shaya was a Grand-Prize winner of the AISF’s Pitch Royale Competition and the MOME’s Finance Lab Pitch Competition for her project Mosaic.
At USC, Shaya was the artistic director of Brand New Theatre (BNT), a theater organization that was dedicated to producing original plays. Shaya has produced and directed over 20 plays, including American Zion by Charles Green, Mud by Maria Irene Fornes, and Rent by Jonathan Larson, which was the largest theatrical production produced at USC.
